What is a Managed Account?

A managed account is an investment account where the investor has provided a professional trader with a power of attorney to trade his account in exchange for a commission on profits, or a set management fee. Sometimes this is also called a controlled account or a discretionary account. In the case of IQManaged, the investment account is held in the name of the investor.
